COVID-19 Precautions: Our Clients Come First
We value our clients and their wellbeing. Deciding to refer your client while the current pandemic continues to impact us all can be a tough choice. We are continuing to monitor and evolve our precautions and practices according to the CDC guidelines and our local health departments. It is our mission to maintain a healthy environment for clients and staff members.
Here are a few important highlights about the precautions we are currently taking:
- Rapid COVID-19 antigen testing is now available to our clients at each of the Promises facilities.
- We test all incoming clients at the time of admission.
- We will be doing antigen testing for 100% of our staff in high-risk areas as defined by the local health department or, in the absence of health department guidelines, the CDC.

Connect Your Client With Specialized Treatment
At Promises Behavioral Health, we work closely with referring therapists, physicians, and other clinical professionals to provide addiction treatment for a client. We also offer higher levels of care for those with trauma, mental health disorders, eating disorders, and other behavioral health issues. We’ll partner with you. While providing regular updates throughout your client’s time with us, we’ll make sure there’s a seamless transition back into your care after treatment.
Our admissions team will work closely with you and your client to find the ideal treatment match. After a thorough phone consultation, we’ll offer several treatment options aligning with your client’s issues, special clinical service needs, preferences, location, budget, and insurance coverage.
Once a treatment center is decided upon, we’ll stay in regular contact with your client and their family. We’ll answer any questions and help handle logistics like insurance verification as well as recommend travel options as needed. If your client is attending treatment out of town, many of our centers provide complimentary transportation to and from nearby airports.
Promises Behavioral Health values our relationships with colleagues who’ve trusted us with the care of their clients. We find that many professionals regularly refer clients to our addiction and mental health treatment centers. Clearly, we’re true to our promise to maintain communication with them (with client approval). We know you know your client best. PBH relies on you to help us target their most pressing clinical needs. This is so we can make the most of their time with us. Our clinicians work hard to provide seamless continuity of care and will be in contact with you from start to finish.
We have an exceptional nationwide outreach team that serves as a liaison during admissions, treatment, and post-treatment. They’re always happy to assist you and your client in any way. You’ll find that they go above and beyond to make sure this process is as seamless and stress-free as possible.
Aftercare and Follow-Up
Our relationship with you both doesn’t end after addiction treatment for a client. We’ll craft a comprehensive aftercare plan for your client. This involves transitioning care back to you and connecting them with support groups and other resources back home. With client consent, our therapists will follow up with you after treatment to discuss client progress and discharge planning.
